70013 on the Hop Picker
This email came through to 5305la webquarters today, it’s a passenger’s report of the Faversham run by 70013 from Steve Talbot. Many thanks to him for his compliments.
What an excellent performance from 70013 yesterday on the run to Dover from Faversham and immaculately turned out as always and sounded superb. The run was spirited to say the least with a brief unscheduled stop at Canterbury East. The photo stop at Shepherdswell was a good idea but a pity about the wet weather although it didn’t stop photos being taken. There were two slips on the wet rails but they were controlled well. Overall a very enjoyable and entertaining run, my thanks and congratulations to all involved.
