As you know, the NRM’s Class 7 Pacific No. 70013 Oliver Cromwell visited Scotland (and most of the rest of Britain!) recently. These photos were sent in to us by Dave Wilson via one of our support crew members who has contacts in the SRPS. I think that you will agree that they are stunning photos of a stunning machine in wonderful scenery doing what she does best. 70013 arrived in Southall yesterday, fresh from tyre turning at Crewe and was waiting patiently on the pit when 30777 Sir Lamiel (another NRM engine in our care) came back from her visit to Canterbury and a scenic tour of the beautiful Kent countryside, back on her home ground for the first time in many years.
