As usual this locomotive has performed well since the last update, with no more than a broken horn valve handle, and a slight leak on the vacuum reservoir in the most inaccessible place imaginable. However the winter took its toll on our batteries, which eventually gave up the ghost, requiring ½ a new set of batteries, with the best of the original ones made up into a short term set that we expect to replace in the next 12 months. The cab lighting and heating switch panels have also been refurbished.
