70013 had a main line loaded test run on Tuesday 5th August round the Carnforth Blackburn Circuit. The route is about 90 miles and includes some West Coast Main Line.

The inspector from the Vehicle Acceptance Body said “A superb machine, a credit to all who’ve worked on her”. Back on shed in the evening to smiles all round...
